This painting is the first of a new series in capturing the wild blue beauty of my new home in Beechmont. I have a particular obsession with painting Mt. Warning in the distance, a swirling mass of cloud and vegetation. While Beechmont is known for its rich dairy cattle pastures, goat farming is also becoming popular, and affords delightful and picturesque scenes on the plateau. Here I have painted my childish alter-ego, chasing one of the goats.
